When your child needs to see a doctor in a hurry or after hours, immediate care is offered at two convenient locations in Rockford (779) 696-9202 and in Roscoe (779) 696-9000. No appointment is needed. These clinics can also provide physicals and immunizations as well. For emergency services, please go to our Emergency Rooms in Rockford or Belvidere.

Being in the hospital can be scary for children. With this in mind, we minimize the stress and anxiety your child may experience by encouraging family members to stay the night and participate in your child’s care.
We blend the latest in medical technology with a caring spirit and the expertise of numerous pediatric subspecialty physicians, nurses, dietitians, social workers and technicians. Our medical and nursing staff are highly trained for the unique problems encountered by children.
When it comes to your child’s health, you want the very best. Swedes’ experienced pediatricians provide compassionate care to children from birth through adolescence. When specialized care is needed, it’s comforting to know that experts from UW Health provide consultations at our clinics on a regular basis. Appointments are available for specialties, including: general surgery, plastic surgery, rheumatology, otolaryngology, pulmonology and plastic surgery. For more information call (779) 696-7081.
(will this list change and we open ourselves up to UW picking at this list of specialties as they come and go)
Because we know the importance of child safety, we’ve partnered with the Winnebago County Safe Kids Coalition. Their coalition is part of the National SAFE KIDS Campaign, the first and only national organization dedicated solely to the prevention of unintentional childhood injury - the number one killer of children ages 14 and under. For more information, call (779) 696-6088.
