SwedishAmerican Earns Advertising Awards
Rockford, IL – SwedishAmerican's marketing team earned Gold and "Best in Broadcast" ADDY awards from the American Advertising Federation of Northern Illinois (AAFNI) during the March 2 awards celebration. The group was recognized for their integrated campaign and 60-second animated TV commercial called "Moments." Accepting the awards on behalf of SwedishAmerican were Brian Reck, Director of Corporate Communications and Strategic Marketing and Robin Ballard, Manager of Advertising/Digital Content.
The ADDY awards competition is sponsored by the American Advertising Federation of Northern Illinois--the trade association that serves the interests of the advertising community in Rockford and the northern Illinois area. The AAFNI is affiliated with the American Advertising Federation (AAF), the national organization which collectively represents over 50,000 advertising professionals and students. Entries were judged based on creativity, originality and creative strategy. SwedishAmerican's winning entries now advance to the Midwest competition later this year.
