SwedishAmerican Woodward Health Center Named Rockford Chamber of Commerce Confluence Honoree

SwedishAmerican, a division of UW Health is pleased to announce its Woodward Health Center, in partnership with SwedishAmerican BetterLife Wellness, was named one of the Rockford Chamber of Commerce Confluence Honorees at a special ceremony on December 7 at the Rockford Art Museum. This is the Rockford Chamber’s first annual Confluence Honors event. 

In July 2016, SwedishAmerican partnered with Woodward, Inc. and opened Woodward Health Center inside its Immediate Care Clinic on McFarland Road. The clinic offers employees and dependents personalized, direct primary care and disease management services. Additionally, health education and preventative care is provided through BetterLife Wellness, SwedishAmerican’s community health center located within the I.D. Pennock YMCA of Rock River Valley in downtown Rockford.

The Rockford Chamber Confluence Awards recognized organizations and people who have thrived on collaborating or partnering with other organizations and people to achieve success for their business, organization, initiative, or community. In total, 21 successful community collaborations were recognized with the award.
