ROCKFORD, Illinois – SwedishAmerican is pleased to welcome new endocrinologist Dr. Aleida Rodriguez to the Brookside Specialty Center (1253 N. Alpine Road, Rockford).

A native of Chicago, Dr. Rodriguez is board certified in endocrinology and has been practicing for six years. She received her medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, completed her residency at University of Illinois Advocate Christ Medical Center and her fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.

Dr. Rodriguez is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinology. Her special medical interests include disease prevention, diabetes management, nutrition and osteoporosis.

“I strive to provide a patient centered care for my patients by empowering with information regarding their medical conditions and by working with them as a team I provide them with tools that will enable them to reach their goals,” Dr. Rodriguez said.
