ROCKFORD, Illinois – SwedishAmerican is pleased to welcome new advanced practice registered nurse Dakota Felckowski to the Stateline Clinic (4282 E. Rockton Road, Roscoe).

A native of Roscoe, Dakota is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner who received her medical degrees from Rush University (DNP) and Northern Illinois University (BSN). She completed her final clinical rotation with Dr. Manika Bhateja at Stateline Clinic.

Dakota is a recipient of the Golden Lamp Society Commitment to Excellence Award and has special medical interests in child/adolescent health, disease prevention, health and wellness, pediatric care, preventive medicine and women and children.

“It is an honor to be back in my hometown serving patients in Roscoe and the surrounding areas as a pediatric nurse practitioner,” Dakota said. “My job is to empower both caregivers and patients. I strive to provide evidence based information throughout all stages of childhood at both wellness and ill visits that will promote confidence and a sense of control to both my pediatric patients and their caregivers that will carry on throughout adulthood.”
