SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center to Host FREE Educational Talks

The SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center is hosting two free educational talks during the month of January:

Chemotherapy Induced Neuropathy Causes and Care on Tuesday, January 9 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Katy’s Place, located in the SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center, 3535 N. Bell School Road. Drumming for Wellness: Relax and Rejuvenate on Monday, January 22 at 6 PM at Katy’s Place, located in the SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center, 3535 N. Bell School Road.

Bethany Stiltner, ATR-BC will facilitate the workshop and help individuals get back into their natural groove with rhythmic breathing, guided meditation and meditative drumming. Individuals will experience the healing impact of sound through the vibration of drums, shakers, chimes, wood instruments and vocal toning. Event is limited to 20 participants. No cost for SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center patients and families; $10 for all other attendees. Attendees must register by calling Health Connect at (779) 696-7081.
