SwedishAmerican Foundation Operating Committee Welcomes Four New Members

The SwedishAmerican Foundation is pleased to welcome Jan Hagenlocher, Greg Jury, Steve Schou and Rich Walsh to its operating committee.

Jan Hagenlocher was employed by SwedishAmerican for 35 years. She now volunteers for several organizations including the United Way’s I-Read program, Senior Follies, SwedishAmerican, Nicholas Conservatory, and is on the Hononegah High School Class of 1961 reunion committee. Additionally, Jan has been a Rockford Chamber of Commerce Ambassador for 16 years. She is married to Erich and has a daughter, Kristen. In her spare time she enjoys singing, traveling and reading.

Greg Jury has been employed by Rock River Environmental Services for 16 years. He is a Loves Park alderman and serves on the Loves Park Lions Club and the Parks Chamber of Commerce. Greg is married to Kelly and has two children and two grandchildren, with one on the way. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with family and his grandchildren, golfing and cheering on the Chicago Bears and Cubs. He and his family have also hosted the SwedishAmerican Ryan Jury Memorial Golf Outing for more than 20 years.

Steve Schou is the chairman and CEO of Klaas Financial Asset Advisors LLC. Steve has been heavily involved with SwedishAmerican’s Cruise event and supports the Ryan Jury Memorial Golf Outing. He is married to Kelly and has three college-age children. In his spare time he enjoys hiking in the mountains, walking his dogs at Rock Cut State Park, golfing, running and working out.

Rich Walsh served as SwedishAmerican’s chief operating officer for 20 years. He is now a partner with his daughter in the Zimmerman & Walsh Law Firm in Rockford. Rich has served on many boards over the years and is currently the past chairman for the Rockford Chamber of Commerce. He and his wife, Michelle, have four daughters and nine grandchildren, with one on the way. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, traveling and spending time with his family, particularly his grandchildren.
