SwedishAmerican Foundation to Co-Host Spring Neighborhood Association Groups Gathering, May 17
Our city is faced with challenges, but along with challenges comes many opportunities for our community. That’s why SwedishAmerican Foundation, Rockford Police Department and Keith Creek Neighborhood Association are hosting a Spring Neighborhood Association Groups Gathering on Thursday, May 17 from 6 – 7:30 PM at Redeemer Church, 827 16th Street, Rockford.
The summit is FREE and open to local community members. At 6:00 PM, Sam’s Pizza will be served courtesy of the Foundation. From 6:30 – 7:30 PM, Judge Rosemary Collins will discuss domestic violence. She will share how the community can work together to help find solutions to this growing issue.
“We’re looking forward to hosting the third annual Neighborhood Association Groups Gathering as it’s the perfect opportunity to bring local community members and organizations together to discuss issues and opportunities for our city,” said SwedishAmerican Foundation Development & Property Coordinator Emily Anaya. “This gathering helps us to strengthen our community and be the standout neighborhood that we know we can be here in Rockford.”
