Rockford University President Joins SwedishAmerican Board of Directors

SwedishAmerican is pleased to welcome Rockford University President Dr. Eric W. Fulcomer to its board of directors.

Dr. Fulcomer, Ph.D. was recently appointed the 18th President of Rockford University, succeeding the current president Robert L. Head, Ph.D. who retired on June 30, 2016. Dr. Fulcomer received his doctorate in Higher Education Administration from the University of Toledo, his master’s degree in College Student Personnel from Bowling Green State University and his bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature, cum laude, from Eastern Michigan University.

Dr. Fulcomer is heavily involved with the community. He is a board member for Rockford Christian Schools, he participated in the Leadership Rockford Program, serves on the Alignment Rockford A-Team for College Readiness, co-chair of the Funding and Alignment Spoke of Transform Rockford, and is a member of the Rockford Rotary Club. He and his wife Andrea, a physician assistant in Rockford, live in Rockford and are proud parents of two teenage children, Noah and Anna.
