And to reduce anxiety, we are the only Rockford hospital with a nurse dedicated to providing continuous updates to loved ones during surgical procedures. Known as a nurse liaison, this person has a background in surgical nursing and understands what is happening in the operating room. Additionally, our pain management service provides relief from pain and discomfort after surgery.

In addition, our outpatient surgery service is extremely patient-friendly, with private recovery rooms and personalized care. We're able to do many procedures on an outpatient basis, which means no hospital stay. But it's comforting to know that the resources of a leading hospital are at your service should you need to stay overnight or longer.
