PAIN MANAGEMENT

At SwedishAmerican, pain relief is an important part of the care we provide. Pain management nurses and pain resource nurses are available to work with you and your doctor to provide safe and effective pain control. If your doctor decides that it is necessary, a medical pain management doctor may be asked to assist in your care. A number of therapies — including massage, music, aromatherapy, imagery, and education in relaxation — are available to patients.
