OUTPATIENT THERAPY

Wellness & Therapy Center

A partnership with the YMCA of the Rock River Valley, the SwedishAmerican Wellness and Therapy Center offers physical therapy for rehabilitation after injury, illness and surgery within the beautiful setting of the YMCA's new Northeast Branch.

The center combines medically-based therapy with wellness and integrates it within the YMCA's services, which are provided within a state-of-the-art fitness facility. In addition to the clinic's own therapy equipment, patients are able to use all of the Y's facilities during their rehabilitation, including the training room and pool.

Following therapy, many patients transition to existing YMCA wellness, exercise and group fitness programs, from personalized wellness counseling to group lifestyle education (nutrition, physical activity, stress management and group support). The partnership serves as a natural link in helping patients to make the next step in their good health.
