MENTAL HEALTH
Dealing with behavioral problems and mental illness can be difficult. But help is available. The SwedishAmerican Center for Mental Health offers treatment for individuals of all ages. Our staff of experienced psychiatrists and professional therapists has lots of experience, which means that our patients receive the most effective, individualized form of treatment.
According to a recent report from the U.S. Surgeon General, a large number of Americans who suffer from mental disorders fail to seek treatment. If you or someone you know needs help, call the 24-hour Crisis Line at (815) 966-2273, or at (800) 932-1810 from outside of Rockford. A no-cost, no-obligation assessment and consultation is available through our Assessment and Referral Program. Our staff will listen to and work with you to help determine the best course of action.
