MEDICAL IMAGING

Medical imaging involves the use of special technology to evaluate an area of your body that is not normally visible. At SwedishAmerican, this technology — which is used to diagnose and examine disease — may involve one of the following:

  • Radiology (X-Ray)

  • CT Scan

  • Nuclear Medicine and PET Scanning

  • Ultrasound

  • MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
