Patient Stories
Thanks to continued advances in tumor diagnosis and treatment, cancer survival rates are climbing... and more and more cancer patients are becoming cancer survivors. The SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center has been a leader in cancer care and takes the time to realize that the journey for our patients cannot be taken alone. The cancer survivors quoted in these stories all chose to undergo chemotherapy, radiation treatment or both at the Regional Cancer Center. During and after their course of treatment, they recovered in their own homes, surrounded by the people they love and the comforts of familiar surroundings. Our special thanks to these courageous individuals.
