CANCER CARE
Clinical Trials
Clinical trials are carefully designed research studies that evaluate the efficacy of a new drug for cancer screening, prevention, diagnosis, or treatment.
The SwedishAmerican Regional Cancer Center's oncology research program allows patients to access the latest cancer treatment in their own community. Our program is affiliated with the University of Wisconsin, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), and the National Cancer Institute's Cancer Trials Support Unit. We participate in National Cooperative Group trials and pharmaceutical-sponsored trials for the treatment and prevention of all forms of cancer.
Please use the following drop-down menu to select the category that interests you. For general information about clinical trials, visit our information page (link to About Clinical Trials page). If you have questions about a specific trial, please call (815) 489-4413, or send an e-mail message to: cancercare@swedishamerican.org.
