PATIENT SATISFACTION

Facts

Each year, SwedishAmerican hires a national independent research firm to conduct confidential telephone surveys with patients regarding their experiences at our hospital, clinics, and emergency department. Patients are asked to rate the quality of their care and treatment and their overall level of satisfaction. They also are asked to indicate whether or not they would choose SwedishAmerican again for medical care, and about their willingness to recommend SwedishAmerican to family and friends. These survey results are used to keep the health system informed about its performance and to make continuous quality improvements.
