QUALITY MANAGEMENT

The Safety Committee

The Safety Committee is responsible for planning and providing a safe, functional, supportive and effective environment for patients, staff and other individuals in the healthcare setting. All departments, including functions dedicated to buildings, construction, maintenance and security, are members of this multidisciplinary oversight committee.

Membership includes the safety officer, Construction Management, Infection Control, Employee Health, Security, Environmental Services, Laboratory, Nursing, Operating Room, Emergency Department and Emergency Medical Services, Risk Management, Dietary, clinic representation, Human Resources, Home Health, Administration, Engineering and Biomedical Services.
