The cornerstone of our cardiac program, the Heart Hospital at SwedishAmerican is unlike any other facility in the region. More than just a four-story, state-of-the-art building, it is a unique healing environment where family members are encouraged to play a significant role in the healing process.

In addition to spacious waiting areas, family members will appreciate large, private patient rooms where they can visit, watch a movie, access the Internet, or just relax with their loved one. In fact, rooms are designed so that a guest can stay overnight. They provide a quiet place where patients can get the rest they need to recover, and caregivers can provide compassionate, personalized care.

Throughout the Heart Hospital, high ceilings, wide corridors, open spaces, and abundant use of natural light have one goal in mind: to provide a comfortable and stress-free environment in which patients, families and caregivers can congregate and all participate in the physical and mental healing of the patient.
