RYAN JURY'S STORY

The Ryan Jury Child Development Learning Center is named in recognition and appreciation of Ryan Jury, who died of cancer in 1986, at the age of 23 months.

Following Ryan's death, the Jury family established the Ryan Jury Memorial Fund. This permanent fund of The SwedishAmerican Foundation provides for the perpetual and ongoing support of children’s services at SwedishAmerican. Over the past 22 years, more than $615,858 has been raised through the annual Ryan Jury Memorial Golf Outing and Dinner.

Funding for the Jury Center began with an initial donation of $542,500 from the Ryan Jury Memorial Fund, which is a prime example of the Jury family’s long-time commitment and support to SwedishAmerican.
