SwedishAmerican Medical Group Welcomes Three New Providers

SwedishAmerican Medical Group is pleased to announce the addition of three new advanced practice nurses.
Amanda Huber, APN
Amanda Huber is an advanced practice nurse who has joined Dr. Gayle Crays at SAMG/Stateline. Amanda will partner with Dr. Crays to expand her practice and provide extended patient care and enhanced chronic disease management to their patients.
Amanda received a bachelor of science in nursing from Rockford College. She recently completed a master of science in nursing at St. Anthony College of Nursing in Rockford and is certified as a family nurse practitioner. Amanda has worked in a number of roles at SwedishAmerican since 2002, beginning as a pharmacy tech, earning her RN, and working up to operational supervisor while completing her APN training.
Kelly Logli, APN
Kelly Logli is an advanced practice nurse who has joined Dr. Sravanthi Nagavalli in the endocrinology department of Brookside Specialty Center. Kelly will partner with Dr. Nagavalli to expand her practice and provide extended patient care and enhanced diabetes and endocrine disease management to her patients.
Kelly received a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Iowa in Iowa City and a master of science in nursing from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. She is certified as a family nurse practitioner and comes to SwedishAmerican with four years of experience in family medicine and chronic disease management.
John Russell, APN
John Russell is an advanced practice nurse who has joined Dr. David Cheng and Dr. John Myers at SAMG/Cardiothoracic Surgery. John will provide both outpatient and inpatient cardiothoracic surgical care and will serve as first assistant to both surgeons in the operating room during cardiothoracic surgery cases.
John completed a bachelor of science in nursing with presidential honors at Chamberlain College of Nursing in Addison, Illinois. He received a master of science in nursing from Mennonite College of Nursing at Illinois State University in Normal and is certified as a family nurse practitioner.
