Our health system is dedicated to putting patient's needs first and delivering safe, high quality care to those we serve. This is evident in the design of our new heart hospital, which allows us to convert many of the double-occupancy rooms in our existing 10-story patient tower to private rooms. In addition, this unprecedented facility includes a healing garden—which provides a soothing environment with greenery and water; large private rooms for patients and their loved ones; and elements such as music, massage, and aromatherapy that promote relaxation and well-being.
SwedishAmerican's mission is: "Through excellence in healthcare and compassionate service, we care for our community." Our employees, who live out our mission every day, are a reflection of our accomplishments. As a result of our commitment to quality and service, our health system has earned many regional and national awards for quality and clinical excellence.
