Breast Cancer Awareness Event

National statistics indicate that one in nine women will be diagnosed with breast cancer during her lifetime. To provide area women with vital information on breast cancer prevention, detection and treatment, SwedishAmerican annually hosts a free event that gives breast cancer survivors, the newly diagnosed and those at high risk an opportunity to hear the latest clinical recommendations. More than 500 women attend this annual event, which has included both national speakers and expert panels of primary care physicians, radiologists, oncologists, surgeons and allied health professionals.
